Safe Space Training with Myles Sexton

We laughed, we learned, and we made strides in understanding the work we can all do to ensure everyone feels seen, included, and welcome
Thank you to all who joined us for this important and timely morning of safe space training and discussion, presented by The Blue Mountains Chamber and our wonderful sponsor and MC for the event, Tarynn Lennox from Tarynn Lennox Real Estate. The session’s incredible speaker Myles Sexton shared meaningful insights through deeply personal and honest storytelling, giving us valuable tools and strategies to help create safer spaces. Myles is a powerful advocate for diversity and inclusion, and a truly gifted speaker, leading the workshop with so much humour, charm, and openness that we were left galvanized to help foster change, and very grateful to be there.
Thank you to the amazing team at The Blue Mountains Public Library for such a beautiful venue, to The Market on Marsh for the delcious breakfast, and to Good Grief Coffee Roasters for keeping us well-fuelled for a morning of education and connection. A special thanks to the Town of The Blue Mountains Local Business Association Funding Program, whose support helps to make these great workshops possible.
And, of course, an ENORMOUS thank you to Myles for making the early morning drive to Thornbury to share their perspective, knoweldge and expertise. If you, your business or your organization would like to plan a Diversity & Inclusion workshop with Myles, check out their website at https://www.mylessexton.com to find out more about who they are and what they do.
