Business of the Year Award Sponsorship

$5,000 (over 5 years)

The Chamber is looking to reboot the popular awards program that was suspended during the pandemic. Rather than develop a series of awards across multiple categories, we now wish to focus on a single award to recognize a member business in the Blue Mountains. The process would include nomination and selection criteria overseen by a standalone Committee established for this purpose and made up of Chamber Board members, a Council Member and the Sponsor. The award would be presented at our AGM and would be highly promoted throughout our network and across our marketing and social media channels.

To ensure the success of this campaign over a 5-year period, we are seeking an exclusive sponsorship in the amount of $5,000.00 ($1,000.00 per year). In exchange for a 5-year commitment of support, the Sponsor will have extensive branding and promotional opportunities, as well as input on the design, selection and presentation of the award, which will include their logo alongside the Chamber’s. The Sponsor will be expressly recognized as the Official Sponsor at every opportunity as we celebrate the winner of the award.

Ontario Chamber of Commerce Advocacy Sponsorship

To deepen our Chamber’s ties with other Chambers across the province, as well as to gain access to a wealth of research, knowledge and advocacy opportunities on issues that are relevant to local businesses, we are looking to secure our membership with the OCC. Membership with the OCC will create additional value and exclusive benefits for our current members, help attract new members, and enable us to lead the conversation in our community on broader economic issues.

The advantages of joining the OCC increase as the BMCC continues to attract new members and grow our network. But because the fees to join the OCC are based on a rate per member of our Chamber, the cost of joining is increasing as well. To ensure that our members continue to have access to the resources and advocacy strength of the OCC, we are offering an exclusive annual sponsorship opportunity in the amount of $2,000.00, as a meaningful contribution towards the applicable membership fees. Recognition of this contribution will be broadly and regularly communicated throughout our network, including in our benefits outline that’s provided to each new and renewing BMCC member, on our website, in our newsletter and through our social media channels. Acknowledgement of the Sponsor will also be highlighted during our attendance at exclusive OCC events.

Newsletter Sponsorship

$300 (over 3 months)

Our most effective means of communicating BMCC news, opportunities and initiatives is through our digital newsletter. The newsletter is circulated monthly to a subscriber list of 400+ and growing, and contains information and updates relevant to our membership, as well as the local business community as a whole.

Currently, we are offering exclusive opportunities to sponsor the newsletter in quarterly segments for $300.00. In exchange, the Sponsor’s logo will be featured in the newsletter’s masthead, and their promotional material will be exclusively featured.
