New Member Spotlight – The Youth Empowerment Project
There’s not much the BMCC likes more than showing off our new members, and we’re so happy to welcome The Youth Empowerment Project (YOU Power Project)!
The Project was born out of a belief that the next generation of leaders and change makers deserves to be inspired and equipped to succeed. Backed by a team of multi-passionate entrepreneurs, professionals and teachers, their programs empower youth to dream big and develop diverse, transferable, real-world skills through the exploration of entrepreneurship.
Led by trained educator and entrepreneur Jess Flynn, YOU Power Project teaches goal-setting, problem-solving, career planning, self-esteem, public speaking, professional tools and skills, and global citizenship. Their innovative, interactive programs take students out of the classroom and into the real world to embrace their talents, passions and potential.
