Purple Hearts Support Services joins the Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce
Donation to My Friend’s House

We’re proud to support My Friend’s House.
This morning, the Chamber and our partners in the recent Lead Like Her speaker series, Marsh Street Centre and The Blue Mountains Public Library, met with Cherie Whiteman from My Friend’s House to donate the proceeds from ticket sales.
My Friend’s House is a safe haven for abused women and their children in the Georgian Triangle. Their services include a secure and welcoming 24-hour emergency shelter, providing meals, personal care items, clothing, counselling, practical support, and a safe place to stay; children and youth programs; educational outreach; a 24-hour support line; therapeutic counselling; and legal support. Find out more about what they do and how you can help support them at www.myfriendshouse.ca

(We don’t know what Frank was saying in that second photo, but we’re pretty sure it was charming.)
