Diversity & Inclusion Breakfast Workshop

Join us at the L.E. Shore Public Library for our next professional development breakfast workshop, co-hosted by Tarynn Lennox Real Estate.
Looking to teach your staff or volunteers how they can create a safer space for the 2SLGBTQIA+ Community? In this workshop, advocate Myles Sexton will guide participants through diversity and inclusion training, covering topics like pronoun use, and the difference between gender identity and sexuality, as well as breaking down the definition and history of what 2SLGBTQIA+ means. We will also discuss easy ways you can make changes within your business or organization to make it a safer environment for everyone. Myles does all this through storytelling, creating a safe space for everyone to ask uncomfortable questions, and teaching from their lived experience as a sober, HIV-positive, non-binary person.
The morning will include a light breakfast, a Q&A and discussion period, and lots of time to mingle and connect with other professionals. Tickets are $15; $10 for current Blue Mountains Chamber members. Get yours at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1353567208959?aff=oddtdtcreator
This event is presented by the Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce, and is proudly sponsored by Tarynn Lennox Real Estate. Our professional development workshop series is presented with support from the Town of The Blue Mountains Local Business Association Funding Program, with our thanks.
