Chamber AGM + After 6 Evening
Agricultural & Agritourism Networking Night

We are so grateful to the Town of The Blue Mountains for inviting us to partner with them to host the recent Agricultural & Agritourism Networking Night.
It was a packed house at the beautiful Georgian Hills Vineyards, with so many local growers, producers and agritourism operators coming out to mingle, and to enjoy delicious sips and bites, and some great tunes by Jeremiah Hill. There was an impressive panel of speakers who shared insight and information about local agricultural initiatives, including Simcoe-Grey MP Terry Dowdall; Keith Currie, President of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture; TBM Councillor Gail Ardiel; Blue Mountains Chamber Treasurer Glenn Gatcliffe; and Robert Ketchin and John Ardiel, co-owners of Georgian Hills Vineyards and Ardiel Cider House.
Guests went home with swag bags filled with local treats; thank you to Valley Ridge Family Farm and Ardiel Cider House for the generous product donations. Thanks to the amazing team at Georgian Hills for taking such good care of us, and to Julie Card from MYCOLLINGWOOD.CA for the great photos (all the good ones are hers
). See the full photo gallery of the evening HERE
And a huge thanks to everyone who came out to have some fun and celebrate local growers. The BMCC is committed to helping support the agricultural owners, operators and staff who are such an integral part of our community and our economy.
