Join the BMCC Board of Directors!

Are you looking to get involved in a dynamic non-profit organization? Do you have a head for numbers and a few hours a month to volunteer your time to help support and strengthen the local business community? The Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Treasurer to join our Board of Directors. This is a chance to make a big difference, with a minimal time commitment. The Board meets once a month for a couple of hours, and the Treasurer is responsible for reviewing our financial information and providing a brief report. The position also involves fun and informal opportunities to engage with other business leaders at our periodic After 6 networking events.

The BMCC is also seeking additional Board Members from all sectors. We are a relaxed, fun group who are passionate about supporting and engaging local businesses, and we strive to make our Board as representative as possible of our local economy. Never served on a Board of Directors before? That’s no problem, we’re eager to meet with you to discuss the perimeters of the role and to give you a chance to see what we’re all about.
