In 2024, ODEN completed a project funded by the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility to help businesses move beyond basic AODA compliance when hiring job seekers who have a disability.

The project examined employment barriers identified by people who have a disability and turned those insights into practical tools to help employers exceed AODA requirements and build inclusive workplaces.

Join us for this informative one-hour virtual Lunch & Learn session for businesses. This session introduces resources designed to support inclusive hiring, retention, and accessibility.

You’ll gain insights into the real barriers faced by job seekers who have a disability and learn how your organization can help remove them.

Guest speaker, Ingrid Muschta, ODEN’s Director of Special Projects and Innovation, will lead this session and share key insights from the project, along with practical tools to help your organization.  Ingrid leads ODEN’s work on innovative projects that advance disability inclusion in employment. She brings extensive experience in accessibility and inclusive hiring strategies and has been instrumental in developing practical tools that help businesses go beyond compliance and create workplaces where everyone belongs.
