Thornbury Shop Hop 2025
Our first Thornbury Shop Hop happened last night, and it was an absolute blast.
Twelve Chamber member businesses in downtown Thornbury opened their door to us for some after-hours shopping, specials and treats. Guests explored some new places, saw some new faces and made some great new connections, all while having fun shopping. They were given a map of the participating locations and a clue card with clues from each location, and guests needed to visit the shops to get the answers. Then we all met up at The Corner Cafe & Grill for a cocktail courtesy of the Chamber, and some prize draws for the completed clue cards.
Thanks so much to Jenny from Three Seasons Farm, who set up in the Bruce Street parkette, courtesy of Experience Thornbury, and handed out beautiful flower crowns to our guests, and donated a gorgeous bouquet as a draw prize. Turner Hospitality Group, Darren Smith from Smitty’s Bike Shop, Alicia Wood from Scheifele, Erskine & Renken, and Casey Thomson from Cuisine also generously provided great prizes. Cranky Bear Cafe let us set up on their lovely patio for our guest registration, and kept the shoppers well-fuelled with complimentary coffee and energy balls.

We are so appreciative of all the businesses who put so much thought and effort into making this a fanastic night — it was such a success that we’re planning to do it again next year!
