Rotary Kindness Gala 2023 — Sponsors Needed

We are offering a great opportunity for your organization to make a big difference in the lives of people of the Town of the Blue Mountains!

The Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Club is currently working on the club’s proposal to transform Moreau Park, Thornbury into a park for all our community members. Our proposed concept for the new “Moreau Park…Kindness at Play” includes an improved and updated skate park for all ages and abilities, a year-round paved pathway, sensory gardens, and an accessible playground. Funds are needed for this project and the T-C Rotary club is hosting our second annual The Kindness Gala to raise our portion of the funding. We are reaching out for major sponsors for our upcoming gala fundraiser. Our goal for this fundraiser is $50,000.

We are truly excited to share details of this prestigious event! The second Kindness Gala will take place on the evening of  and is built around our Kindness theme. The date has been purposely selected to coincide with International World Kindness Day, which follows two days later. The event will be held at the impressive Georgian Peaks Ski Club, Hwy 26, Thornbury. We will have 160 guests in attendance and expect to also attract and include members of the ski club through the club’s direct advertising of our event. The tickets will go on sale early September at $195 per person and we are looking forward to a successful sell out event. During this sophisticated evening, we will enjoy a welcome cocktail, sumptuous dinner with plentiful choices, accompanied by wine. Following dinner, we will have an exciting ‘sideshow event’ and then we will dance away the evening with a fabulous band from Toronto. There will also be an online 50/50 draw preceding the Gala. Given our demographics and factoring in the venue, we anticipate our guests to typically be of 40 years of age and above, enjoying an affluent lifestyle.
