New Member Spotlight: Alaboo Charity

Alaboo is a registered Canadian charity that supports a school of 219 kids in Kahuho Kapolet Kenya. It all started with a donation for a well that services 2500 people in surrounding villages, and their mission statement has since evolved to address the needs of the children in the Kahuho community who are attending the Saint Elizabeth School. The school ensures a supportive and safe environment for learning, while also providing a nutritious breakfast and lunch to the students.

In the short term, Alaboo is working to expand the school by purchasing more land for farming and development. Their long term vision is to create a program for volunteers to come and work on various projects in the community.
