Part-time practical nursing information night on May 16 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. will get you prepared to apply for this program at South Georgian Bay campus.  Starting winter 2018, this program will be great for those looking to move into a new career, but have obligations from keeping them doing a full-time program. We are looking for potential students who are caring, patient, good with people and interested in health care.

Interested in something a little different, Business Fundamentals prepares students for the fast-paced world of business in today’s society. Whether aspiring to be an innovative top level CEO or an inspired entrepreneur, business fundamentals starts you on the path to success. In this program students learn and develop customer service strategies to meet the needs of both internal and external clients. Students cultivate knowledge in human resources, marketing, finance, accounting, information technology and how these are all part of the operation of an organization. Students use creative problem solving skills to address real business problems and opportunities and learn how to employ environmentally sustainable practices within the industry. Finally, students will learn to recognize the economic, social, political and cultural variables that influence business in any industry. Start full time in September for this one-year full time program.

Not sure about the cost of school. Great news, OSAP has changed much of their funding options, and now many adult students are eligible for free tuition. If you’re a single student and your income is $30000 or less, your tuition is covered. If your family income is $50000 or less, your tuition is covered. Even if you and your family earn more, there is still many options for you to get school funded. Learn more at Ontario.ca/osap.

If you aren’t sure about having the prerequisites for a program, academic and career preparation is a tuition free program that will allow you to upgrade or obtain your prerequisites. Call 705-445-2961 ext 2911 to sign up today.
